The newly designed and particularly compact helical gear units and helical-bevel gear units of the MC Compact series impress with their extremely small space requirement. The compact design combined with a number of application-specific options, such as swing base for motors, motor mounting platform, adapters, backstop and torque arm, gives engineers great freedom when it comes to designing entire system solutions.

A parallel shaft design makes it possible to create a very low-maintenance product that requires little space and can be manufactured at relatively low cost. The eight models in this series offer a very finely tuned solution for your particular application. The MC Compact Series consists mainly of standard components which results in short delivery times.
It does not matter what mounting position you need for your application. It is hard to beat these gear units when it comes to possible mounting positions. The gear units of the MC Compact Series can also be combined with many modules from the standard product program.

M Series |

The M Series gear units are often referred to as the "big brothers" of the MC Compact Series because their basic technical concepts are almost identical. The M Series is a very compact unit in parallel shaft design that supplies a whole lot of force considering the little amount of space it requires.
These gear units can be easily adapted to your special requirements. Not only do you get a customized product, this solution offers two additional advantages: the reasonable cost-performance relationship and shorter delivery times.

The helical and helical-bevel gear units of this series are the ideal platform for individual and customized applications with a variety of options to connect a wide range of modules.
There will always be customer-specific applications, special solutions and customized machines and systems. And a standard gear unit may not fit in this concept for some of these applications. Our CN Series gear units are often the first choice in these cases. These gear units can hardly be beat when it comes to customized configuration, i.e. flexibility and variability. A large variety of modules can be mounted on the input and output side of the unit.
Additional elements can easily be mounted on the left and right without any major effort.

Of course, the same set of quality criteria apply to the gear units of the CN Series that have been a SEW-EURODRIVE trademark for decades and have made the gear units such a global success.

P Series |

In the past, it was almost impossible to order planetary geared motors directly from a catalog. But our P Series products are a move in the right direction to get closer to this ideal situation. If one adds the impressive efficiency of the series, you get an almost unbeatable and appealing product. |
It was not too long ago that huge transmissions and gears were required to achieve low output speeds and high torques. Today, these problems are solved by planetary gear units with plenty of support from primary geared motors. This type of completely new planetary geared motors offers some impressive product advantages.
They are first of all very compact, i.e. the gear units are designed so that the geared motor is mounted directly in front of the planetary gear unit. Couplings, intermediate flanges and adapter flanges that take up space and increase the price are a thing of the past. The entire range of SEW-EURODRIVE geared motors is available for mounting to these units.
The new series is a standardized product. That means: You can download all current dimension sheets and DXF files at any time if you should need them for planning or cost calculation purposes. A number of synergies could be formed even in the production process due to the SEW-EURODRIVE modular concept. The result: and outstanding cost-performance relationship and usually short delivery times.

The power of our Q Series gear units is in demand when even our most powerful planetary gear units reach their limits. The products in this series are suitable for an almost unlimited range of applications.
Fascination does not wear off. It is always amazing to see gigantic paraboloid mirrors adjust to an orbit, when the roof of an observatory opens up to reveal a view into the universe or when the roof construction of the Atlanta Skydome slowly opens up.

Enormous forces are necessary to move such heavy loads.
The Q Series planetary gear units do their job anytime such a spectacular and often less obvious but still demanding task has to be mastered. This series is also characterized by its very compact design. Customized solutions can be easily accomplished and the design of these gear units makes it possible to "integrate" individual customer specifications into the actual design of the machine. Of course, you can once again combine the Q Series gear units with all available connection elements on the input and output side.
